I'll do the math for you. This works out to a roughly 51% chance of survival. Of course, you need to wait 13 days to find out.

So, I get slightly more of a chance of survival, _and_ I get 13 days to track down whoever it is that's rolling this die and hit him with a shovel before he can finish. Win/win. :)
