This is hard. It kinda depends on how sad. Having 1/3 of your friends die would make you sad, but eventually you'd get over it. But that would would make you very sad for a long time. Vs an undefined amount of sad forever.

Wtf jonnyt, you don't even consider that other people, your own friends/family even, are going to die? Oh yeah, I'd rather be temporarily sad. I mean, SUUURE, a bunch of people are going to DIE, but hey, I'll only miss them temporarily, right?
