Despite what the movies say I suspect that a zombie outbreak's death rate would be less than 1/3, so overall my chances are better with that.

I suspect that something that kills less than 1/3 of a city's population wouldn't warrant the name "apocalypse", though. And even if the proportion were that small it would still result in a greater total number of deaths, many of which will be quite horrific and awful. So I think it's still a hard choice and I'm leaning toward the one that's guaranteed to only kill 7 people.

Having no sense of touch would mean that all your other sense get better. So your vision gets better, you hear better, and taste is dramatically heightened, and your sense of smell would increase as well. Your body would compensate from losing the sense of touch.

This is hard. It kinda depends on how sad. Having 1/3 of your friends die would make you sad, but eventually you'd get over it. But that would would make you very sad for a long time. Vs an undefined amount of sad forever.

I refuse to choose.

Wtf jonnyt, you don't even consider that other people, your own friends/family even, are going to die? Oh yeah, I'd rather be temporarily sad. I mean, SUUURE, a bunch of people are going to DIE, but hey, I'll only miss them temporarily, right?
